The death toll in Wednesday morning’s Can Tho bridge collapse in Vietnam has risen to least 52 with more than 150 others injured, police have said.
More people remain stuck in the rubble, officials at the scene told Thanh Nien.

At least 11 people died and 100 were injured when a section of a bridge under construction in the Mekong Delta collapsed Wednesday morning.
Over 70 workers might be still trapped under the debris of the cable-stayed Can Tho Bridge over the River Hau which some sources said crashed after an abutment collapsed, destroying a scaffolding.
